The pages and symptom selector provide general service information and practical preparation suggestions. Symptoms do not establish the source of a leak; damp and pressure changes can have other causes. A property-specific assessment is needed to determine suitable work. Content is not a substitute for professional advice about electrical safety, building condition, tenancy law or insurance.
Do not use a guide as an instruction to open a floor, climb onto a roof or work on electrical, gas or plumbing systems. Arrange safe, authorised access with occupants and the people responsible for the property. Follow the preparation instructions supplied for your appointment. If there is an immediate danger, contact the emergency services rather than waiting to speak to ADI.
Enquiries, quotations and bookings
Browsing the site or choosing a symptom does not book a survey or create a service contract. This website takes no enquiries; it only links to ADI’s telephone number. A quotation, visit, scope of investigation and any repair must be agreed directly with ADI on the call.
Check the full price, any VAT and additional charges, access requirements, appointment arrangements, cancellation terms and repair scope before confirming a booking. Coverage descriptions are not a promise of immediate attendance. Availability depends on the postcode and service required.
Service terms and your rights
Changes to this website’s terms do not retrospectively change an agreed booking.
These website terms do not replace the terms supplied for your particular booking. Ask ADI for the applicable service terms and read them before agreeing to work. Any statutory rights you have remain in place and take priority over a conflicting term. This page does not impose a cancellation charge or waive any cancellation right.
A survey may narrow down a suspected leak without exposing it. Further access or investigation may be needed. Repairs depend on the finding, access and an agreed quotation; they are not automatically included. ADI does not carry out roof or structural repairs. This site does not promise a successful outcome, same-day repair or universal “no find, no fee” cover. Insurance cover is determined by your policy and insurer.
Using the website and its material
You may read, print and share links to the pages for enquiries and managing your property. Copyright and other intellectual property rights remain with the relevant owners. Do not republish photographs, logos or substantial website content commercially without permission, or imply that ADI endorses another business. Separate open-source and font licences continue to apply to material released under those licences.
Do not misuse the website, introduce malicious code, interfere with its operation, impersonate someone else or send unlawful material. Information you give ADI on a call should be accurate to the best of your knowledge, and you should be authorised to share it.
Availability and responsibility
Pages may be updated or unavailable during maintenance. If a detail matters to your booking, confirm it with ADI. External websites have their own content and policies; a link does not make their information part of your booking terms.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing removes your statutory consumer rights.
